TokenEngineering Academy

Token Engineering is the newest engineering discipline after software engineering was established in the 1960s. It’s about the design, verification and optimization of crypto-economic systems, which are economic systems running on a blockchain using crypto tokens. As a discipline, Token Engineering draws from established practices in systems, electrical, robotics & controls engineering, and combines fields like Behavioural & Ecological Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, AI, Game Theory, and Optimization Theory. Token Engineering was first mentioned in 2018. Since then, a vibrant community with members from all around the world has come together to form a body of knowledge, tools, methods and engineering ethics. In 2020, the TokenEngineering Academy (TE Academy) launched the first comprehensive educational program in this new discipline. Since then, more than 3000 students from 21 time zones enrolled in TE Fundamentals. The program is free for students.
