Teach Hurst

Whether you are a recent graduate or looking to bring your experience from another industry into the classroom, Teach Hurst offers a fully funded, supportive route into teaching at our beautiful Sussex campus. From day one, you will become a part of our welcoming and ambitious school community, stepping straight into the classroom with support from experienced mentors. You will earn a starting salary of £31,000, enjoy free onsite accommodation and meals, and receive full sponsorship of a PGCE with QTS in your second year. Our programme is designed to help you grow into a confident, inspiring teacher—equipped with the skills, knowledge, and support to thrive. This is achieved through observations, phased in class teaching, and bespoke training sessions. Many of our Teach Hurst teachers go on to take up positions of responsibility early in their careers.
