Teachers for Peace (TFP) is a women-led, fiscally hosted collective dedicated to transforming education for children and women affected by conflict. Our mission is to provide free, high-quality education and emotional support to those in dire need, regardless of the obstacles they face.
Since our founding two years ago, TFP has operated as a non-profit, relying entirely on the dedication of our volunteer educators. Our global network spans from Brazil to Japan, utilizing digital platforms like WhatsApp and Zoom to connect teachers and students. This approach allows us to offer uninterrupted education to children in war-torn regions and to support displaced women and girls worldwide.
As we approach our third year, we are evolving into a social enterprise to ensure our long-term sustainability and expand our reach. Our decentralized model fosters a strong, interconnected community of educators who are committed to bridging educational gaps and promoting peace.
