teachNOLA develops individuals from diverse backgrounds to become exceptional teachers committed to giving all students an excellent education. We seek outstanding mid- and post-career professionals and recent college graduates to make a difference by teaching in public schools in New Orleans. Socially conscious professionals and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates to teach ELA, science, math, early childhood education, and special education. Consistently rated as a top teacher preparation program in Louisiana, teachNOLA’s training is rooted in building strong relationships with students and the ability to deliver high-quality instruction. Fellows join local school communities ready to play a critical role in providing all students an equitable education. Our program is one of the most accelerated and affordable certification programs in the state of Louisiana. For almost 20 years, teachNOLA has trained thousands of teachers, reaching over 95,000 students.
