Team Namibia’s Vision is to inspire consumers to make Namibian products and services part of everyday life. Our mission is to facilitate the increased consumption of Namibian products and services, locally and abroad, by inspiring competitive standards, stimulating consumer confidence and impacting sustainable economic development.
Team Namibia supports the development objectives of the Government as set out in Vision 2030.
Founded in 2003, Team Namibia is a Section 21 Company (association not-for-gain) spearheaded by the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and the Namibia Manufacturers Association (NMA).
The Team Namibia logo is a seal of endorsement which represents a good or services that is:
- Produced in Namibia
- Competitive (standards and quality are fit for purpose)
- The organisation is making a positive contribution to our sustainable economic development!
Team Namibia founder members include Bank Windhoek, First National Bank, Mobile Telecommunications (MTC), Namdeb, Ohltaver & List and Telecom Namibia. Any Namibian institution can join as long as it supports Team Namibia’s aims and objectives. Applications are approved by the Team Namibia Board, and members adhere to the Team Namibia constitution.
