Team NYUAD-Solar Decathlon Middle East

Team NYUAD is a diverse group of dedicated individuals, coming from the various departments of NYU Abu Dhabi. Each individual contributes in a different way according to their skillset in their respective fields.This allows the team to truly engage the whole student body. As the Solar Decathlon is a multidisciplinary construction project, spanning over 2 years, the students are able to face the most pressing issues facing the building industry today. Namely: how to create sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and resourceful buildings. The experience that students gain through the methodical trial-and-error process will enable them to develop a set of unique skills to address a wide range of challenges. These include design, marketing, project management, engineering obstacles to just name a few. It is our belief that this project will be able to bring real change to the community and we look forward to materializing this goal.
