Prahaar Racing India is a student organization from Saraswati College Of Engineering, Mumbai. It is a non-profit organization. We are a ‘Formula Student’ Team. The team participates in Formula Student competitions nationally and internationally as well.
The team was started in 2012 when few engineering students thought of making a vehicle so they started which a Baja Car. But in the future the team decided to switch to a formula student car and till date the team is building formula student race car.
Formula Student is the world’s largest engineering design competition which gives student a platform to showcase there engineering skill by building a formula style race car with a set of rules provided by the organizing committee to ensure safety.
Students start developing the race car by gaining & learning lot of knowledge regarding race cars then after a lot of research and planning team starts building up the virtual design & analyses, after all the work they start with the manufacturing phase in the beginning it is done departmental wise after which assembly of the vehicle is done. Then they test the vehicle for hours to ensure the quality of the vehicle. Then ahead the team go to the competition and showcase the car to the respected judges.
