We are a young and enthusiastic research group in CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, at the University of Aveiro. Our research is mainly focused on applying solid-state NMR methods in tandem with computer modeling to study pharmaceutical systems, acidity in zeolites and CO2-sorption mechanisms in porous materials. Current group members include Luís Mafra (head of the group), Mariana Sardo, Ildefonso Marín-Montesinos, Mirtha Lourenço, Marina Ilkaeva, Ricardo Vieira and PhD students Rita Fonseca, Daniel Pereira, João Pereira, Carlos Bornes and Tiago Morais.
