Led by Hanwha Aerospace, a leading defence and aerospace company in Korea, Team Thunder is a unique international partnership involving leading UK defence manufacturers to develop the world’s most proven self-propelled howitzer for the British Army. The K9A2 - an advanced version of the already internationally proven K9 Self-Propelled Howitzer artillery system - will drive investment into the UK and develop a manufacturing base that will generate thousands of high-value British jobs, UK sovereign capability and potential export opportunities.
