Uphill was founded in 2017 by Damian Buckley, the lead assistant coach of Concordia University’s men’s basketball varsity team. He was later joined by Inti Salinas, native of Tucson Arizona, former Concordia Stinger (2013-2016) and assistant coach of Brébeuf College Division 1 men’s basketball team (2016-2021).
