Team Virage

Founded in 1998 by Philippe Gautheron under the name G-TEC, and operating as a race driver training and preparation academy during the previous six seasons, Team Virage enjoys a strong history of 20 years of successes. Gautheron worked on physical, mental and simulator preparation for GP2, GP3 and F3 drivers, including Sergio Perez, Vitaly Petrov, Giedo van der Garde, Rio Haryanto and Charles Pic. The team management can count on Julien Gerbi, ex-single seater racer seen in F3, Barber Mazda and AutoGP, who will also endorse the Driver Coach role. Launched at the end of the 2017 season, Team Virage competed in LMP3 and Spanish GT. The team was immediately a front-runner, fighting for the title until the ultimate race in Spanish GT4 and VdeV Series. Team Virage also took part to some rounds in ELMS. Virage Group provides to its team and its formation center a full high-level training facility adapted to racing drivers. From karting to Formula 1, our drivers receive the best preparation, physically and technically. - 190 m2 gym, with a full time physical trainer - Vo2 Max tests & Analytics - Nutritional Assistance - Mental Coach Seminars Their simulator provides the drivers a great tool to work on their technic, learn new tracks or get ready for their next event. Its machinery includes a strong force feedback, racing pedals and steering wheel which provide a full immersion into a racing experience. - Professional Simulator - F2, GP3, F3, F4 models - LMP2, LMP3, GTE, GT3, GT4 models - Driver Coach and Engineer Assistance - Technical Lectures. Team Virage currently run 2 Aston Martin Vantage GT4's and 2 Ligier LMP3's in various European categories.
