The award-winning Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 programme (TEAM2100) is responsible for delivering the first 10 years of investment in tidal flood defences in the Thames Estuary as per the Thames Estuary 2100 Plan.
We are a top 40 government infrastructure project responsible for the refurbishment, replacement and upgrade of London’s tidal defences. Consisting of 8 major barriers, 350kms of walls and embankments and 400 other structures this system is responsible for protecting 1.3 million people and £275 billion worth of property from the increased risk of tidal flooding.
Valued at £308 million, the programme is being delivered by a collocated, integrated delivery team composed of the Environment Agency, Jacobs, Balfour Beatty and several other suppliers.
