Aura Nest

Aspiring for Unified Resources Advancement (AURA) is a team that explores the problems and possibilities of forests, rangelands, and the environment. AURA Nest is an initiative that focuses on preserving nature through research and community-driven action. Objective: We aim to support cross-border collaboration for knowledge sharing, engage local communities, and promote sustainable solutions for forest management and rangeland restoration. Thematic Areas: 1) Forest - To support the forest research, facilitate forest-dependent communities, and promote productive and sustainable forest management in Nepal. 2) Rangeland - To document the rangeland scenarios of Nepal and support researchers by providing a collaborative platform for exploration and innovation. 3) Environment - To empower local communities by fostering a restorative environment, enhancing disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategies, and proactively addressing emerging challenges in conservation through capacity-building initiatives. 4) Climate - To address climate change and its impact on people across diverse topographies and support livelihoods through research-oriented actions. Mission: Research and Innovation, Policy Engagement, Publication, and Communication Vision: We strive to foster meaningful connections between people and the environment while supporting local communities and promoting conservation.
