STES Hyperion

STES Hyperion is a group of enthusiastic engineering students designing and fabricating a Solar-Electric and Battery Electric Vehicle (HYBRID), participating in various national and Asia-level events. Founded in 2016 by two professors and our sustainability-minded super-seniors, the team quickly achieved notable success, thanks to the exceptional skills of our members and the impressive efficiency drive of our vehicle. There are many achievements of our team and in-depth knowledge of our past legacies. In 2023, our creation, "Infiniti 6.0," excelled in Asia's Biggest Solar car Rally organized by ISIE, named the Electric Solar Vehicle Championship 2023 (ESVC). The team showcased its capability of achieving major success and secured AIR-2, along with some great achievement awards like Best Durable Vehicle , Best Innovation, Lightest Weight Award, Best Hill Climb, and Best Cross-pad. Now, we are looking forward to new challenges for the future and aiming to set a benchmark in international competitions as well. To achieve this, we recognize the need to strengthen our technical foundation by increasing our knowledge with proper guidance from industry professionals.
