TAD -- short for "The Architects Desktop" is an innovative design system for architectural practices. Architectural designing often requires multiple modelling (one for each aspect of architecture) That leads to lots of errors. Alas, conventional software in this area are only for the final stages of designing and for construction. We believe that we should be talking of AIM (Architecture Information Modelling) and not really BIM which talks only about the eventual building -- and not the processes behind the building. TAD covers both the entire process and product. TAD , is a "what-if" iterative rapid design tool. It's like "spreadsheets for architecture" Apart form adding real value to architects' practices, architects can lease the data produced by TAD (i.e. floor plans -- we call it "indoor maps") to various software developers who can develop various graphical "map" based apps. Similar to how Google maps uplift many software developers. TAD is a freeware for rapid proliferation (soon to be open-source) TAD is now listed in several top 5 and top 10 architectural design software listings in English, Portuguese, French, Spanish websites (possibly other languages too) All organic growth!
