TEB Faktoring A.Ş. Eylül 1997’de Türk Ekonomi Bankası’nın bir iştiraki olarak yurtiçi ve yurtdışı faktoring hizmetleri vermek üzere kurulmuştur. TEB grubunun ilkeleri çerçevesinde, çeşitli sektör ve büyüklükteki şirketlerin ihtiyaçlarına uygun, kaliteli faktoring hizmetleri sunulması amaçlanmıştır. TEB Faktoring, kuruluşundan itibaren tüm faktoring hizmetlerinin kullanılır hale gelmesini ve mevcut pazarın genişlemesini hedeflemiştir. Yeni müşteri potansiyelinin özellikle önemsendiği bu amaç doğrultusunda, mevcut diğer araçlara tercih edilebilmek ve piyasadaki rakiplerin önüne geçebilmek için hizmette kaliteye öncelik verilmiştir. Bu çerçevede 1998 Ocak ayı içinde dünyadaki en büyük ve en önemli faktoring zinciri olan FCI (Factors Chain International)’a üye olmuştur.
