TECES, Green Tech Cluster

TECES is a leading Slovenian innovation cluster on green technologies and energy-efficient solutions, established in 2001 as a private non-profit entity by Slovenian companies and research organisations. TECES's primary mission is creation of synergies between its members and key stakeholders (companies, research organisations & universities, government, etc.) to foster research and development and business cooperation based on a triple/quadruple helix innovation model. 🔹 more than 20 years of innovation support; 🔹 a vast experience in coordination & management of large consortia implementing RD and demo pilot projects consisting of various stakeholders; 🔹 an extensive knowledge on technological and social trends in energy, environment and green transition areas, 🔹 an extensive knowledge on existing market solutions, already developed or still under development phase in Slovenia, 🔹 active in preparation and implementation of the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3) 2014-2020 and 2021-2027. 🔹 a holder and a coordinator of key demonstration pilot projects and strategic partnerships of national importance. TECES is a founder and a coordinator of three different Slovenian partnerships: 1️ TECES – Green Tech Cluster (since 2007) covering: energy-efficient electric devices & systems, energy production, distribution, storage, conversion, management and consumption, smart (micro) grids, smart communities… 2️ SRIP Smart Buildings and Home (since 2017) covering: smart, sustainable and nearly zero energy buildings, buildings (energy) management, smart devices and systems, HVAC, digital twins, BIM, smart community connectivity. 3️ SiEnE - Slovenian Energy and Environment Partnership in Defence (since 2020), established together with the Slovenian Ministry of Defence covering: green transition and energy and environment challenges in the defence and security sector;
