Tech for Humanity is a global organisation that emphasises Australia’s role, leading discovery, learning, and engaging to address the societal impact of technological innovation. The Tech for Humanity initiative recognizes that technology is fundamentally a human issue that demands comprehensive, human-centered approaches. The human-centered guidance of technology, focusing on the societal impact of technology, is already becoming a grand challenge of our time. The initiative builds upon the role of ethics, empathy, policy, responsible innovation, equity, human-factor design, human identity, creativity, global collaboration, societal values, inclusion and diversity, sustainability, and attention toward the future of work to ensure a viable outlook for human thriving amidst significant innovations in technology that will shape our world in the decades to come. As more and more aspects of our lives are impacted by technology. Tech 4 Humanity is assisting organisations, governments and citizens understand how humanity will anticipate, mitigate, and manage the consequences of algorithms, artificial intelligence, robots, and more.
