Tech Big Sis Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the next generation of Africa’s tech leaders through two transformative initiatives: Tech Every African Child Early (TEACE) and the Raising Afro-tech-girls Movement (RAM). Tech Every African Child Early (TEACE) TEACE focuses on empowering African children aged 6-12 from rural and underserved communities, low-cost schools, and slums by providing early access to digital skills. This initiative is designed to bridge the technology gap in underdeveloped regions by equipping children with essential digital tools and knowledge. By introducing young Africans to vast career opportunities in tech, TEACE prepares them for the demands of the fourth industrial revolution, helping shape a tech-savvy generation. Raising Afro-tech-girls Movement (RAM) The RAM initiative is committed to closing the gender gap in the tech industry. Through advocacy, mentorship, and skills training, RAM empowers African girls to pursue careers in technology. By increasing the representation of girls in tech, RAM plays a vital role in promoting gender equality and driving social change in the tech ecosystem. Commitment to the SDGs Tech Big Sis Foundation aligns its mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4: Quality Education – Providing early access to quality tech education for children in underdeveloped communities.
