We are a University of Chicago student-led organisation that aims to educate its members on various facets of the tech world including but not limited to entrepreneurship in tech, investing in tech (all business stages), future trends in the sector, some technical information focusing on technologies of the future (ie. blockchain, hydrogen power etc.). The organization is founded by
three sophomores, who all have had diverse involvements in the tech world ranging from working at top VC firms that invest in exclusively tech startups, to firsthand experience at hardtech Unicorns.
We believe that having a successful career in tech is principally dependent on two main factors: expertise in the industry one wants to focus on, and most importantly, an extensive network of smart people who are trying to do the same thing as you. Our program is designed to expose members to already successful entrepreneurs and investors in tech through our monthly speaker series while also giving them a platform to connect with other tech interested students at UChicago. Moreover, our informational workshops and discussion sections cater directly to our members’ individual interests in tech. There is no general training for members, only optional opportunities that allow us all to grow our businesses and technical acumen.
