Tech Hours is a non-profit organization in the city of Hamilton. Our mission is to give high school students the opportunity to develop their passion for technology and entrepreneurship.
Tech Hours holds an annual 1-day tech event that features a structured techathon and tech conference. In an intense 4-hour sprint, teams are creating their own tech start-ups and addressing global problems with technology. Students must brainstorm, research, and pitch their tech start-up and idea to judges upon evaluation. Mentors and experts will coach and guide the students throughout the process. Additionally, students attending have the opportunity to engage in interactive keynotes held by industry leaders and engineers. Free food and refreshments are provided.
