About Tech Talent Partnership
Did you know Colorado's tech industry is 48% more concentrated than the national average, with an expected job growth of 11% in the next five years? This impressive growth, however, is met with a critical challenge – a significant shortage of skilled tech labor. ActivateWork is at the forefront of addressing this challenge by launching the Tech Talent Partnership. Backed by the Opportunity Now Colorado grant, we're committed to launching over 340 careers, creating a robust pipeline of diverse, skilled tech talent ready to drive Denver's businesses forward. We are creating a sustainable model where industry and education converge, offering a pathway to prosperity for individuals, and ensuring businesses have access to a skilled workforce ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. The partnership brings industry and workforce development partners together to: 1. Architect solutions to enhance education and training pathways towards key entry-level technology roles 2. Fuel the employer pipeline for these key roles 3. Empower a diverse talent pool throughout Colorado The partnership drives and connects the education to employment ecosystem and has assembled two primary stakeholder groups to approach this important work – an Industry Steering Committee and an Education Task Force. EDUCATION TASK FORCE VISION : Collectively create integrated pathways to support diverse learners through scalable, stackable working and learning experiences to improve economic mobility in Colorado. INDUSTRY STEERING COMMITTEE VISION : Be the voice for industry needs to drive actionable plans and create a diverse and evergreen tech talent pipeline in Colorado. Together, our partnership is transforming Colorado's tech landscape, enhancing the competitiveness and innovative capacity of our businesses.
