Tech4America (t4a.org) provides a platform for service-minded leaders to solve America’s toughest challenges. T4A.org’s mission is to create a no-agenda, non-partisan space for private and public sector leaders to serve their country through dialog, two-way exchange of ideas, and the creation of partnerships that benefit all Americans. We achieve our mission via: >> TechTables, where we convene our Innovators together with a “Convening Guest” from the public sector, who brings a particular challenge to brainstorm. Each TechTable ends with a discussion of potential areas of continued partnership and collaboration between our Innovators and the Convening Guest. As we develop world-class public-private partnerships, we will help spur creative and collaborative solutions. >> Partnership Between Silicon Valley & America's Mayors, where Tech4America and the National League of Cities create small, high-level discussions in the Bay Area, around the nation, and virtually through webinars. Silicon Valley is already building the future. America's cities want to better understand the leaders and technologies that are creating huge impacts on them. >> Research & Collaboration on the Future of Work & Workers, where T4A contributes to a much larger national conversation on how to respond to the changes that technology is bringing to the way people work and whether technology can broaden the opportunities while mitigating downsides like instability and job loss due to automation. T4A is seeking practical, deployable public policy solutions around issues like wages, benefits like unemployment insurance and retirement, and training.
