The South Central Regional NextGen Information Technology Industry Sector Partnership (IT IP) was formed in April 2018 to address growing concerns about workforce development in the IT industry across South Central Pennsylvania. Our Mission is to attract and retain diverse and innovative technology talent and entrepreneurs across South Central Pennsylvania. Membership is free and you’ll find employers, entrepreneurs, educators, technology professionals all of whom are passionate about furthering Technology in our region.
Our volunteers work across four 4 committees which meet monthly via Zoom and always accept volunteers:
Talent committee - promotes Technology Careers through outreach to K-12 and Higher-Education organizations. This group is working to establish a Help Desk Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Innovation committee - supports our entrepreneurs through Keystone Merge and works to build the South-Central entrepreneur community.
Membership committee – You already know Dr. Campbell and I. We work to host educational events that further the mission of the partnership and attract new members.
Grant Committee - manages the Grant dollars that fund the Partnership.
Our TechConnect web site connects students and job seekers with resources to advance their skills and discover opportunities while connecting with South Central Pennsylvania companies who need to hire technology workers.
