TechNed® Benelux BV, formerly known as Technor Benelux BV, was founded in 2008 by brothers Marcel and Erwin Geluk and is a manufacturer of explosion-proof products with its main office and production facility in Spijk, The Netherlands.’ The core business of TechNed® Benelux BV consists of developing and manufacturing (maintenance free) products and systems that help to solve challenging situations for end users. The main focus include offshore locations, petrochemical plants, ships (tankers, FPSOs, survey vessels, etc.) and industries where there is a risk of dust explosion, such as grain silos, timber companies or similar. The products that TechNed® Benelux BV develops must comply with regulations under the European ATEX and or IECEx directives and every single component or system undergoes thorough testing by Notified Bodies (e.g. Dekra, Ineris) and other well established third parties to provide functional, safe and cost-effective solutions that keep their added value in the future, TechNed® Benelux BV devotes considerable attention to the practical use of acquired knowledge and the development of new technologies. In order to maintain the high level of quality, next to the QAN from Dekra, DNV-GL has audited and certified TechNed® Benelux BV in the beginning 2016 as an ISO 9001:2015 company.
