Techni Bharathi Pvt Limited was incorporated in 1982. In 2007 it became a subsidiary of a USA based Infrastructure Development Company, M/s India Globalization Capital Inc. (IGC), located in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. IGC is a listed public company on NYSE AMERICAN. In December 2012, IGC acquired 100% of TBL and re-focused the business from construction to leasing of heavy construction equipment. The board and management of TBL have broad experience in the construction and leasing sectors. The Company's medium term expansion plans are to establish leasing centers first in South India and eventually in the rest of India.
