Whether communicating with family or catching up with friends, technology has become an ever important field of communication in our community and in our world today. With this increasing importance, many people, especially senior citizens and veterans, lag behind and form what is known as the "digital divide." Technology has and will continue to prove as a hindrance to seniors and veterans wishing to stay connected to loved ones until the problem is solved. Technocademy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides fun and educational seminars and resources free of charge to seniors and veterans across the nation. Technocademy organizes 1-on-1 lessons, develops projects (like Operation T-CUP and the Technocademy Pocket Guide), and creates online content (including videos, presentations, and tutorials). Technocademy is partnered with many companies that share its mission, including Microsoft, Cisco, Google, HP, IBM, Lenovo, and others.
