The TEC Centre (Technologies for Embedded Computing) is funded by Enterprise Ireland as part of their Applied Research Enhancement Programme. The Centre’s main objective is to create a one-stop-facility for Industry R&D support in the region in the areas of:
Wireless systems, Wireless sensor networks, Miniaturised hardware systems, Software development, Websites and user interfaces
TEC can offer the following to Industry:
Prototyping projects to investigate and prove the viability of potential product concepts; Short and medium-term research projects designed to create specific forms of intellectual property; Projects, outreach and technology training initiatives designed to offer an effective industry experience for second and third level students.
