T-I-L* (Technology-Innovation-Law) is pivoting to using technology and innovation to help creative entrepreneurs to realize value from their intellectual property. We have expanded service to include Africa, Asia, and the US. We just launched www.t-i-l-group.com, an IP legal tech startup funded in part through the Inclusive Innovation Equity Impact Fund (IIEIF) and African Diaspora Network.
This change builds on the foundation established when Technology-Innovation-Law was founded, as an affordable intellectual property law practice for Washington, DC area organizations, in 2016. T-I-L retains achievements, capabilities and clients from that beginning. We are adding the innovation and technology to enhance our ability to make a positive difference.
o Our mission is making it easier, and less costly, for creative entrepreneurs to protect and to monetize their intellectual property (IP).
o T-I-L’s business objective is to create a product – IPRights4All© - that makes creating IP affordable by capturing the process in software, for compliance and scalability. For society the objective is to provide a path through which all people have access to participating in the knowledge economy. Individuals and society may benefit from more and diverse ideas. In turn wealth can be shared with more people.
o The current mission and objectives are initial steps toward delivering on the vision of providing a sustainable market for intellectual property, open and supportive to all, to spur an eruption of creativity from under-served populations – along with associated economic opportunities.
