MOTIVATION In India, one see’s a lot of challenges for short distance material movement. The segment is highly dependent on manual labour. Presently the material movement which is highly dependent on labour availability is unscientific, inefficient and causes occupational fatigue, posing safety and health hazards to the labourers. Further, women are not able to participate in owing to the vagaries of nature of job. The problem is compounded further, as businesses who are engaged in offering manual material transferring services are not able to invest in capital intensive solutions. As a result, this has led to lower productivity and unsustainable cost implication. The transportation sector is the leading contributed to greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) globally and accounts for nearly a third of the total GHG emissions by economic sector. As economic activities increase, the taxation that transportation puts on the environment will increase. OUR RESPONSE Efficient movement of material is an essential part of increased economic productivity. The need for sustainable solutions and practices that lead to decarbonisation within the transportation industry is imperative. In order to solve the problem faced in moving material at shorter-distance, Technovos embarked on developing a product for safe material movement. We embarked in developing a customised design-build approach including concept development, design engineering, integration, automation (process, line, and controls), fabrication, installation assembly and testing. We intend to take this product on the global scale. GAADE-EV for Commercial Application We wish to proudly inform you that we have indigenously developed under AtmaNirbharat. This is also a women empowerment machine as women will now be able to work in energy intensive jobs like construction sites where materials are moved.
