Welcome to Tech Pals, We appreciate your interest in joining our team and furthering our mission. Our primary mission is to bring older adults and everyone together with technology. Tech Pals believes a basic understanding of technology is a fundamental right rather than a privilege. We strive to reduce social isolation and frustration and aim to make older adults and everyone more independent and help them to maintain their dignity and improve their quality of life throughout the aging process. We were founded by Leah Baum in December of 2019. We offer our service for free to anyone below 30% AMI and are fundraising, grant, fee for service ($80/hr) and donation funded. We emphasize what we coined as the five pillars of technology, they are: Connecting to friends and family Navigating the Internet Online Safety and Security Health and Health Monitoring Comfort and Entertainment By teaching technology in these five pillar we enrich lives.
