TechPivot is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering immigrants and visible minorities, who do not have a tech background to make a successful transition into the dynamic realm of technology. We achieve this through: Training Programs: Providing specialized training programs tailored to the specific needs of immigrants and visible minorities, ensuring they gain the necessary tech skills and knowledge. Partnerships: Collaboration with tech companies, educational institutions, and community organizations to provide support, resources, and job placement opportunities for the trained individuals. Mentorship and Support: Offer mentorship programs to guide participants through their tech career journey and provide ongoing support to address challenges they may face. Job Placement Assistance: Establish connections with tech companies to facilitate job placements for graduates of the training programs, helping them secure employment in the tech industry. Evaluation and Iteration: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes to ensure its long-term success.
