Techstorm was founded to help close the educational and functional gap minorities face in the tech industry. Our vision for Techstorm is to create a vehicle that provides hope to the underserved minority communities across the u.s. we believe each and every student deserves an opportunity to extend their knowledge of the economic and technological environments that surround them. Innovation Conference: the innovation challenge is a pitch competition that involves three rounds. a qualifying round, a semifinal round, and then a finals round to determine the top startup ideas in the area. tech storm will provide a first, second and third place prize to the winners of each category. Youth Ideation Summit: The Youth Ideation Summit provides a platform for underrepresented and at-risk youth between 9th-12th grade. We hope to continue in providing exposure to various functionalities of technology and in turn encourage our students to pursue a career in science, technology, mathematics and engineering. through leveraging various workshops and media, we will introduce the product innovation and ideation process that top tech companies use to create products such as Uber, Twitter, Facebook and Google.
