Tecnologias Cobra is a division of The EPCM Group. Established in 1998, The EPCM Group launched Cobra Technology to provide a strong local presence for our South American tank house clients. Located in the heart of the South American copper belt in Antofagasta, Chile, Cobra operates the largest cathode manufacturing and reconditioning centre in the world. Over 600,000 permanent cathodes have been manufactured in our South American plant and are in service globally. As the global leader in cathode refurbishment, Cobra and The EPCM Group repaired more than 600,000 cathodes in 2020 alone. With over 400 employees, we offer end-to-end, life-cycle solutions for mining and heavy industry clients. These include engineering services, cathode manufacture and repair, automation services, plant maintenance, spare parts supply and component repair. Collaborating seamlessly with our colleagues at EPCM Engineering, EPCM Automation, and EPCM Service & Supply, we create industry-defining solutions that maximize performance and safety, while reducing cost.
