Technology Counsel Foundation (TECOF)

Technology Counsel Foundation (TECOF) is a non-profit in India. Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni, TECOF is on a mission to create large scale impact through three major missions: 1. Every organisation is driven by Technology- so should every lawyer be. How to create thousand lawyers who understand and are driven by Tech? 2. Technology has its lopsided impacts on vulnerable groups- children, senior citizens- so Law for Technology should be progressive, but how? 3. Technology can be a great leveller for access to resources in India- how can we make it happen? TECOF members form part of the Technology Law Community, and participates in activities such as podcasts, workshops, upskilling programs, study groups, grants and scholarships to facilitate development of Technology Lawyers that the India Inc. needs today; standard setting exercises for technology use by vulnerable groups as well as making it easy for vulnerable groups to access technology. In its journey so far, TECOF has worked with top institutions, organisations, schools, mental health orgs to deliver on its mission.
