Té Company is a New York based tea company specialized in oolong teas sourced directly from Taiwan. In 2012, Elena Liao, a Taiwanese native, founded Té Company with the intention to heighten awareness of oolong tea in the US. Since then, Té Company has been committed to bring unique and quality oolongs to fellow tea enthusiasts. In 2015 Elena’s husband Frederico Ribeiro, a former sous chef at Per Se, joined the company as a partner to broaden the capability of the company.
Today, Té Company offers their assortment of teas through their own retail channels, a tearoom in the heart of West Village in New York City and their retail website. Additionally, the company partners with various restaurants and coffee shops nationwide to widen the distribution of quality oolongs.
