In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUEWroc, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. TEDxUEWroc is a licensed TEDxTalks event that is a part of a brand which is recognised and respected around the world. There are hundreds of conferences yearly that are being held within that brand. It is a non-profit event, that hosted such personalities as Bill Gates, Simon Sinek or Elon Musk. During the talks that are no longer than 18 minutes and are related to main theme of an event - this year it will be "Bridge to the Future" - the audience and YouTube channel viewers can experience the knowledge and incredible stories of inspiring people connected to science and the main theme itself.
