Who we are TEDxBinnenhof was a public-private community for inspiring ideas with societal impact. Governments and private partners actively search for 'Ideas Worth Doing' through challenges and nationwide contests. Our goal To offer a worldwide platform for innovators with a mission; people who are shaping our future. It’s about searching, sharing and scaling their ideas. Our partners We are a consortium of inspiring partners. Our partners dare to pioneer and challenge fixed opinions. They want to inspire and show the way forward to a better future. They are innovative exemplars to their industry and society. Our events In 2012 we created TEDxBinnenhof, where x = independently organised TED event. That year's theme was the “Catwalk for Innovation". In 2014, our theme "Global Challenges | Dutch Solutions" covered a broad spectrum of societal, environmental and economic challenges. Ten inspiring Dutch innovators revealed their smart solutions and showed that a small country can think big! In 2016, and during the EU Presidency, TEDxBinnenhof put the spotlight on Europe’s most inspiring visionaries with ideas that deserve to take the world stage. In 28 Member States, governments were working with TEDx communities and many other stakeholders to search for Europeans who are landscaping the future with their revolutionary ideas. This search for "Ideas from Europe" was coordinated by the European Commission (SME Envoy Network). In April 2017 a new edition of Ideas from Europe was launched. The semi-finals were held in November in Tallinn (Estonia). The European finals were held in The Netherlands in spring 2018.
