The idea of a TEDx Event is to give leading speakers with mind-blowing ideas a stage to speak, share knowledge and inspire an audience. The conference started out in 1984 bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then, its scope has become even broader. TED talks are filmed and published through the official TED channels, reaching millions all around the world. ☛ What is TEDxDIT? ☚ TEDxDIT is the local program of self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDIT, where x = independently organized TED event. TEDxDIT is committed to gathering international leaders in a yearly conference taking place at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology in Bavaria that aim to spark thought-provoking discussions, educate about global issues and build a strong business network at our engaging events.
