TEDxGrandPark

TEDxGrandPark is an independently organized event licensed from TED by longtime speaker and presentation coach Ben Patwa and organized by a network of people sharing the value of social impact through the spreading of ideas and instigating putting those ideas into action. The TEDxGrandPark mission, like the TED mission, is to propagate Ideas Worth Spreading; but beyond that, it's about putting those ideas into action to impact change locally in Los Angeles and beyond globally. A specific vision for TEDxGrandPark is to make it a global platform and pipeline for the propagation of great ideas, stories, creativity, innovation, and movements that people can join to create ripples of change for good. TED is a US based not-for-profit enterprise devoted to the propagation of Ideas Worth Spreading. TED started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment & Design. Started as a four-day conference in California 28 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. The annual TED Conference invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes.
