IIT Mandi is committed to educating students and disseminating ideas both collectively and individually for the good of society. The same was idealised by TEDxIITMandi, which successfully held a TEDx event in 2017 with the theme "Essence of a Changing World." The occasion provided a venue for the propagation of concepts through engaging talks. We have previously collaborated with great personalities like Sachin Gupta ,founder of HackerEarth, Chirag Gander and Sahil Vaidya, CEO of the Minimalist, Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.D. Bakshi, ex-army veteran, Chandra Mohan Thakur, serving IAS in MP, Dr. M.V. Padma Srivastava, professor of Neurology at the AIIMS New Delhi.
