TEDxKazimierz was first organized in May 2015 at the Galicia Jewish Museum. Our conference aims to serve the local community by giving great people, ideas and projects in Kazimierz and global stage. While, at the same time, importing from the international community inspiring people, their ideas and projects to enable a co-creation of new initiatives which aim to not only build a community of TED and TEDx fans but to inspire local innovation and embrace the historical heritage of this district of Krakow.
In addition to the main conference we also organize a series of smaller events. Kazimierz is full of interesting people - activists, artists and thinkers. We want to give them a chance to present their ideas to the general public and intoxicate the audience with concepts of growth, innovation and tolerance regardless of age, religion, orientation or beliefs.
The TEDxKazimierz philosophy fits in with the historically diverse characteristics of this district by opening the stage to experiencing and embracing the multi-colored and often difficult history of Kazimierz.
