TEDxRUET

“Expression” is such a simple word yet with unparalleled significance. The very reason that led to the birth of languages many ages ago was that we wanted to express our ideas; we wanted to express ourselves. In present times, the same drive has led to the emergence of TEDx events. A TEDx event, as we know of, is a TED affiliated local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are organized and shared with the community. Unlike a commercial event, a TEDx event is organized by volunteers from the local community, and hence, it lacks any commercial, religious, or political agenda just like the TED events. The goal of these events is to spark conversation, connection, and community unleashing ideas, inspiration, and information. Upholding indifferent integrity and a shared goal, a group of aspiring students from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) is planning to host a TEDx event this year. This institution has been serving the nation with its extraordinary minds for decades, and it’s high time, these minds deserved a chance to express themselves on such a global platform. At TEDxRUET, we believe that ideas are invincible, and our ideas have what it takes to go "From Local to Global." The organizing committee of TEDxRUET has an active hierarchical order with dedicated teams to handle logistics, technicalities, communication, and media related engagements.
