TEDxSCEM

The idea of TED was conceived with the vision of exposing the masses to great ideas, under precisely that slogan - 'Ideas Worth Spreading'. TED which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design started as a one-off event in 1984 but grew into a series of annual conferences in 1990, and is now the global benchmark for speakers and enthusiasts alike to interact for new ideas in a vast variety of fields. In order to facilitate a greater exchange of ideas, conferences under the name TEDx began to be held and are independently organized of TED. As a result, several organizations and educational institutions have benefited due to the sheer splendor of the TEDx speakers.
