TEGWAY CO LTD

TEGway is a developer and manufacturer of flexible thermoelectric modules and systems for power generation and cooling. TEGway Co. was established on September 2014 as a spin-off of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). After two years of research effort, by the Fall of 2016, we successfully completed the fabrication of large size engineering samples of the flexible theromoelectric module (7 cm X 8 cm). The engineering samples demonstrate comparable performances to those of existing bulk type modules and fir the fabrication processes found in commercially/technically feasible modules. We are now in the process of setting up a pilot production line and expect to start commercial production by late 2017 and or early 2018. Our first application of flexible thermoelectric module is an arbitrary-shaped surface made with a cooling and heating system. We also believe that our modules can power wearable sensors and IOT devices by harvesting energy from minimal thermal sources such as body heat in the near future.
