Tekfen Manufacturing and Engineering (Tekfen Manufacturing) was set up in 1970 as a new and separate venture within the Tekfen Contracting Group , in order to produce storage and processing equipment for the oil, petrochemical, and chemical industries and for industrial facilities such as gas, iron and steel, and power plants. Throughout the decades, it has accumulated serious know-how and experience and is known for its expertise and reliability in engineering , manufacturing and construction works. In addition to playing a pivotal role in Tekfen's becoming an EPC contractor by way of providing an important portion of 'Procurement' services, Tekfen Manufacturing has acquired an awe-inspiring list of its own customers that includes international contracting companies as well as Turkish and foreign companies in the LPG storage and distribution sectors. The company provides tailor-made service with a total of 200 skilled and dedicated employees. The company is involved in the engineering and manufacturing of: Cylindrical Storage Tanks, Spherical Storage Tanks, Low Temperature and Cryogenic Double Wall Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Process Columns, Shell and Tube type Heat Exchangers, Pressurized Piping, Heavy Structural Steel Fabrication etc. Tekfen Manufacture's fabrication plant is strategically located next to the International Port of Derince on a 48,500 m2 land where 19.250 m² is the closed shop. Tekfen Manufacturing conducts its operations in accordance with industry-recognized international standards such as ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 & Div.2, EN 13445, AD 2000 Merkblatt, BS 5500, CODAP, API 620 & 650, TEMA and it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certifications. The company also holds ASME U, U2, S and R Stamps, EN ISO 3834-2, PED 2014/68/EU and AD-2000 HP-0 Certificates.
