We are a team of researchers from the University of Sheffield that have researched and developed novel brain computer interfaces for stroke rehabilitation. With the support of the INSIGNEO Institute commercialisation team we are exploring the possible commercial opportunities for our systems.
Our technology couples the user's brain signals when they intend to move their muscles with their activation. All through a portable system requiring only 5 minutes set up. This system trains the brain muscle connection improving rate of recovery for damaged muscles, reaction times and performance of trained tasks.
