The Telfer Human Resources & Management Association (HRMA) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 2008. The Telfer HRMA is proud to be recognized as one of the clubs and associations existing within the Telfer School at the University of Ottawa. It was established with an aspiration to provide Telfer students with the opportunity to further develop their knowledge of professional designations attainable in the field of HR. Any proceeds that are raised through membership fees, sponsorship, events, and other fundraising activities are used to coordinate professional events for the students enrolled at the Telfer School of Management in Ottawa. The HRMA has four main ambitions that are the core of its beliefs. These ambitions are: Achieve our Goal: To foster business relationships for all University of Ottawa students through networking, social events and academic competitions. Raise Awareness: Increase awareness of the 'Human Resources' and 'Management' specializations at the University of Ottawa and within the business community. Establish Relationships: Foster relationships between the student body and the business community through associations including, but not limited to, the HRPA and the ORRA. Generate Opportunities: Enhance awareness and relationships through funding, scholarships, and future business opportunities.
