TELK started off with the goal to democratize access to financial independence and economic freedom around the world. Towards that in it's early years TELK operated an innovative platform for financial literacy and investment research. TELK brought the best investment ideas in traditional finance, through its network of research providers - we used machine learning and natural language processing to provide relevant analytics and insights. We partnered with a diverse set of providers that included macroeconomic, fundamental, sector-specific, quantitative, special situations, micro-cap, and technical analysis research. The primary consumers of this research were Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), and smaller hedge funds who were looking for non-Wall Street independent and original ideas. We wanted to be the Seeking Alpha and AlphaSense for the RIA and smaller hedge fund community.
