TemarLije

TemarLije is an Ethiopian digital initiative that built interactive and fun literacy applications. This project had linked effectively technology and communities through digital libraries. Often School reading methodology fails to associate reading with enjoyment. As a result, children learn to associate reading with memorization and exams, rather than pleasure. Reading materials are scarce, particularly in developing country. We proposed a solution by developing Early-grade reading android applications for rural digital libraries. Kids using the apps learn and play at the same time. Even TemarLije will play great role on making the parents digital device learning material.
